The 19th annual Summer Institute for prospective college students is under way at Henderson State. The residential program is designed to help high school students prepare for college life and encourage them to pursue a post secondary education. The institute includes a variety of sessions and activities. Individuals from the university, public schools and the community work together and serve as facilitators and supervisors. Students stay in campus housing and eat in the dining facility. Dr. Kenneth Taylor, interim graduate school dean, is pictured above speaking to the students.
