Design a website for your business in just a day at a workshop presented by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Henderson State University. Website in a Day with Weebly will help business owners who lack technical skills design a website through a step-by-step process that includes creating a free account and developing an attractive, functional, five-page website. All participants will receive a free 20-page workbook with detailed instructions.
The free workshop will be held March 19 in Henderson’s Mooney Hall computer lab from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tara Thornton, training coordinator for Henderson’s SBTDC, will lead the workshop. Pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is March 18. Please call 870-230-5184, or register online at http://asbtdc.ualr.edu/training/arkadelphia.asp.
The event is cosponsored by Connect Arkansas, a project of the Arkansas Capital Corporation Group (ACCG). “Ensuring entrepreneurs and small business owners receive the education they need to be able to compete in the global economy is vitally important to the economy of Arkansas and the future of its citizens,” said C. Sam Walls, ACCG chief executive officer and president of Connect Arkansas. “We are pleased to be able to partner with the ASBTDC to extend the reach of these educational programs.”
